To whom it may concern:
My name is Greyson C. Peltier, better known as "Greyson in Aliso Viejo", the 13-year-old founder and director of The Greyson Nation Network, a thriving Internet radio show and an entity discussed frequently and known well by your very own Roger Lodge, Jeff Biggs, Jason Brennan as well as others in your radio division.
My reason for writing at this time to you is concerning the termination of Rex Hudler as well as Steve Physioc. First off, I have been an Angels fan since 2007 and the first Angels game I ever saw on TV and about my 2nd on radio were called by Hudler and Physioc, to the best of my memory. They both had incredible personalities, which I came to find out were unmatched by any other baseball commentators on television or radio. In my professional and personal opinion, this significantly contrasts and differentiates the Angels organization to new fans. Secondly, Mr. Hudler's voice and constant on-air motivation was quite helpful when the Angels needed to rally back and helped me to bear the intensity of close games especially. Third, there is a tradition and attachment, not only by myself, but also others in online grassroots movements that have rapidly grown in just this one day to Hudler and Physioc and they will be a missed attraction during games on radio and TV. Obviously, people are creatures of habit and consistency and like hearing the same voices on a frequent basis.
I, as a broadcaster and a fan, would like to know the reasoning behind this decision and am willing to talk on or off-air about this topic to your representative(s), Please take this as only constructive criticism to a overall great organization that is as always "Fan Strong." As a fan, I want to ensure that myself as well as my listeners and friends strengthen, not weaken in any way, the well being of this organization.
To conclude, I would appreciate your consideration on this matter and would like to thank you in advance for such consideration. I would also like to thank AM 830 and its staff for giving me all the time they have given me on-air and hope to continue in the future with building a great relationship that is of benefit to your company as well as myself.
Thank you and have a Happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
Respectfully,
Greyson Christopher Peltier
